The Pioneer Settlement has over 50 original and replica heritage buildings which form a small town with a number of pioneer homesteads on the outskirts.

Key buildings in our pioneer area include:

• Keats Cottage - a drop slab building from the 1850s
• The Iron House - a corrugated iron kit house sent from Great Britain of the same period
• Towaninnie Homestead - comprising a complex of buildings from the 1880s
• Pine Point School from the same period and there are many others
