The Paragon Café

First established in the main street of Swan Hill in the 1920’s, the Paragon Café was the epitome of casual dining in the era in its local form.

The Paragon Café opened on Swan Hill's main street in the 1920s. It was a symbol of casual dining in the area during that time.

The current premises of its namesake was established in large part due to the revenue raising efforts of the Friends of the Pioneer Settlement. Their fundraising helped restore the old Dumosa Towanninie Hall into the café's present day building that the Paragon Café calls home.

The venue now serves both Pioneer Settlement visitors and the local community. It offers a chance to enjoy the charm of the past with a modern menu. The menu offers choices from a quick toasted sandwich to a hearty meal, blending standard café items with a Middle Eastern twist. You’ll enjoy barista-brewed coffee for morning tea, plus traditional treats like scones with jam, double cream, and an old-fashioned spider. We are sure there’s something to please everyone in the family.

Stop by on your journey and enjoy the unique view and ambience of the Paragon Café.
